Children's Ministry
We hold to the belief that children are not just the leaders of the future, but the leaders of today as well. We believe that God has gifted each child uniquely and that with a little bit of guidance that unique gift can be used to cause a Kingdom impact in their families, schools, and communities.

Kids Club
Each week, we have the privilege of inviting children of all ages from the surrounding community of the base for a time of games, Bible lessons, singing, praying and a small meal. Our desire is to impact their entire being (spirit, soul, and body) while also implanting into these children a heart of worship and service to God. The goal is to see them grow up and make wise, Godly decisions while influencing their own friends and families for Christ.
Family Development
We believe that a Kingdom revival must begin with transformation in the family setting. For this reason, we invest heavily in training, equipping, encouraging, and praying with both the mothers and fathers who live in our community. We also strive to help them move forward in not just their personal development, but also in their development as parents.

Moms' Ministry
The moms’ ministry is a time each Tuesday with the women in our community to learn about God’s Word through Bible studies, testimonies, and other things. It’s a place that these moms can find a community that encourages them & helps them grow in their personal relationship with God. Each week we visit different moms to get to know them better and learn what their spiritual, emotional, and physical needs are. This allows us to share God’s word with them & pray for them.
Men's Ministry
In 2018, we also launched a monthly meeting with the fathers of these same families in order to inspire them to become the men and leaders God made them to be. Through these monthly meetings, we aim to inspire unity within their marriages, as well as train them with Biblical principles to better lead their families
Homes of Hope
A new ministry of the base is building homes for families in need. There many benefits that are realized by families that have their own home. Teams that desire to help a family, raise the funds and work alongside the family to construct the home. Each family hears the gospel message, is given a Bible, introduced to a local church and receives a basket of food to welcome them to their new home.
Social Assistance
Many families live in poverty in our community. We strive to help them in crisis situations to bring food and clothing. We also help them with fuel efficient wood burning stoves and water filters that they can earn through volunteer work with us. We believe it is important that we work with the poor and not for the poor.
Community Outreach
We long to be able to utilize our resources, gifts, and talents to help encourage growth and development within San Miguel Escobar, the community that God has placed our ministry. We also long to reach out to those in the community with the great news of the gospel and to encourage hope, despite the difficult circumstances many families are facing.

Community Worship Service
We currently meet on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. at the YWAM Base for a time of praise, a message and a time of fellowship. This is often a great place for neighbors in our community to join us and hear from our visiting DTS teachers as well as our missionaries.
Bible Distribution
We are going door to door in our community to give Bibles to families that do not have one. It is a great opportunity to talk with people, pray with them for their needs and share the gospel message.
Soul Patrol Evangelism
Soul Patrol is an evangelistic ministry that takes place in Antigua on Friday afternoon. We spend time in prayer and then go to the streets and parks to talk to people about Jesus. When we host teams that come prepared with drama presentation we find locations where they can perform the dramas to reach people with the gospel. Antigua is an international city which gives opportunity to share your faith with people from many countries. We pass out tracts, engage people in conversation and pray for people with needs. It is always a rewarding experience.
