We welcome the Summer when many groups from the USA will come to Guatemala to help with different ministries. Our base like many other ministries is looking for groups to join us for a week or more to be a part of what we are doing. There are opportunities to build a home, conduct ministry to children and moms, visit families to bring a Bible to the ones that do not have one, do food distribution to people in need, share the gospel message in a variety of settings, participate in a church service with pastors we are connected with and spend some time exploring the beautiful country of Guatemala.
The borders are now open for people to come to Guatemala provided they have taken the test for Covid. Testing is available here as well for the return trip to your home country. In Antigua the test is free.
Our base is taking the required precautions and will do everything we can to make your trip a great experience.
We are offering the YWAM DTS that will begin on July 22 and end on December 9. The focus of our school will be on “Compassionate Leadership”. If you have never been a part of the Discipleship Training School we encourage you to do it! It is a life changing experience that will lay a solid foundation for your life and build friendships that will last a life time. Over 6 million people have completed the YWAM DTS! Last month we offered a seminar, “Freedom in Christ” to local pastors and leaders. Robert Reed and his wife Nancy traveled from California to conduct the seminar. It was an informative seminar to introduce pastors to be able to conduct the full course in their churches. We are always looking for more staff to join us in the work.
